MALALA'S PROJECT

After suffering a Talibans' attack in 2012, Malala was moved to Birmingham in the U.K. for treatment at a hospital that specialises in military injuries.

Malala had been fighting against the Taliban edict banning girl's education in Pakistan. She received the National Youth Peace Prize.

In 3rd ESO Entrepreneurship, the students have helped Malala to go on with her fight. They have used the tools they know to prepare in groups some creative ideas to be developed.

Denok dakigunez, data horretan Euskararen Nazioarteko Eguna ospatzen da eta gu ere gure ikastetxean hainbat eta hainbat ekintza prestatzen ari gara, besteak beste, ikasleek egindako gidatzeko letreroak beraiek asmatutako leloekin eskola girotzeko, bingoa, dantzak, karaokea eta abar.

In 4th ESO our students have  made  a paper minibook, decorating the cover and writing a poem they liked or English sayings and idioms.

"If" by R. Kipling has been one of these poems.

Here you are the poem:

OUR SUITCASES

In our Speaking class in 1st ESO we have been packing our suitcases with hints and clues for the rest of the teams to figure out our holiday destinations.  It has been great fun!!

GOOD OR BAD LEADER?

Students in 3rd Entrepreneurship have been performing  sketches where they had to show the differences between a bad leader and a good leader, always from their point of view. We want to share with you one example.

Definition:

  Halloween is thought to be associated with the Celtic festival Samhain, when ghosts and spirits were believed to be abroad.

 The origin of Halloween can be traced to this “ancient pagan festival celebrated by Celtic people over 2,000 years ago,” “The Celts believed that the dead could walk among the living at this time. During Samhain, the living could visit with the dead.”

Los alumnos de 1 Bachiler han decorado su pasillo con emoticonos relacionados con la Semana del Inglés y, cómo no, con Halloween!

Con la intención de conocer un poco la cultura y la sociedad alemana, los alumnos de primer curso de Alemán (3 ESO) han elegido una persona relevante y han investigado sobre ella.  Como resumen, han realizado una corta presentación.  Aquí podéis ver algunos ejemplos.

Joan den astean, gure ikastetxetik talde asko joan ginen Oihaneder Jauregian dagoen World Press Photo erakusketa ikustera.Oso interesgarria iruditzen zaigu alde batetik, gure ikasleen heziketarako, hiriak eskaintzen dizkigun ekintzez baliatzea, hauek hiritarrak baitira eta bestetik, ekintza hauek euskaraz antolatuta egonez gero, eskolatik kanpo ere hizkuntza honetaz hitz egin daitekeela ikusteko.
Erakusketa asko gustatu zitzaien eta arretaz entzun zuten azaldutako guztia.

EMPRENDIMIENTO

Algunos alumnos de 3º ESO han elegido este curso la asignatura de "Emprendimiento" como optativa en inglés. En ella aprenderán las herramientas básicas necesarias para desarrollar  capacidades en la creación de proyectos emprendedores de formación de grupos e ideas creativas, toma de decisiones tanto grupales como individuales y, sobre todo, las características principales del liderazgo emprendedor.
Como primer trabajo grupal han desarrollado un proyecto de creación de una "Academia de Lenguas" en su ciudad. He aquí una muestra de su primer trabajo.
